North Central Texas Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts

Hold Annual Meeting in Fannin County

 On October 5, 2005, the Fannin Soil and Water Conservation District hosted the North Central Texas Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts annual meeting with a tour of the Buena Vista Turf Farm and the Pin Oak Kennels. This tour displayed the economics of non-typical agriculture land use.  The tour bus was compliments of a grant from the NORTHTEXAS RC&D AREA, INC.  After the tour, a short business meeting was held with a delicious lunch following.

            

 

                   
The participants of the tour enjoyed a very informative discussion and demonstration of sod cutting at the Buena Vista Turf Farm.
